Don’t fool yourself. The devil is going to come after you. He hates you, especially now that you are one of his biggest enemies. You betrayed him. And right of you that you did. You made the best choice that you will ever make in your whole life, believe me when I tell you this. Our God, the God that you serve now, is far bigger and more powerful than the devil. I bet that one day when we are in heaven, we will say “Is that the devil that tried to destroy him? Oh man, I did not realize he is actually so small.” When you feel oppressed (like the world is coming down on you), PRAY. I can not emphasize it more. When you pray, God moves. Remember, He is loving and gentle and will never force anything on you. You need to ask Him to help you. Bind the demons - Mat Seek a Pastor or Spiritual Leader to help in the area of prayer or councelling. Stay close to God, don’t walk away from Him. Especially when you are in trouble. That is when you need to RUN to Him - Jam 4:7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Rape This is definitely one area where the devil enjoys destroying. Firstly, its not just the person being raped that has now been attacked, but sadly, the attacker has been attacked by the devil. The devil has used sexual lust and power to get this person to sin in this way. This is by no means an excuse for this person to have done what they have, but this person really needs to seek help. Being raped takes away ones dignity and innocence and yes, its many years or tears and questions. But one thing we can count on is that God was there when it happened. He saw it and he cried when it happened. Why then did He not do something about it? I cannot give a full account, but what I can say from experience is that no matter what the circumstance, God turns EVERYTHING around for the good. He did so with my case. I thank God that I was the one that was raped rather than another young lady. I have had the strength to cope with it and deal with it. I have seen some people who are not able to cope at all and never come to terms with it. I have learned to take this negative situation and turn it around into a very positive situation. I am not able to listen to others who have been raped. I am able to sympathise with them and most of all ….. I CAN SAY …… I understand. It took many nights of pray to God pleading Him to take away the memories of each detail, but He did not. Instead, God allowed the memories to stay so that I can understand the emotional and physical pain that one goes through. Restoration from rape is never a quick answer. It takes many years of accepting the fact that this actually happened to you. One also has to deal with the guilt that is involved – “Did I do something to cause this?” “Maybe it was all my fault”. But that is exactly what the devil wants. He wants us to blame ourselves. I have learned to pray for the man who did this to me. It was never easy and sometimes I had to force myself to pray for him. I prayed that God would open his eyes to what he did and that he would repent and never harm another person in this way again. It took me a long time to forgive him, but God kept reminding me that He forgave me for my sins and by thinking that I don’t have to forgive this man was sinning. It meant that I was putting myself above God because I did not have to forgive because of what happened. Everyday I had to say “I forgive you” in my mind and sometimes I hated saying it and did not mean it. But in the end, it sank in and now my heart is at ease. I can honestly pray for this man with love in my heart. One thing we must remember is that God loves everyone, even if they are sinners. He did for sinners. We owe it to God to forgive others for their sins. If we are obedient to His Word and forgive, God is faithful to help us out of our troubled times. Drugs The truth about drugs is that people do not need to “hit rock bottom” or become addicted before they can benefit from help. Frequently, a person turning to substances is trying to erase another problem. By drinking, a person may be self-medicating to cope with depression. A teenager, angry with his parents’, could start with drugs such as marijuana or such “lighter” substances.. Its never too late! No matter what has found its way into your life, but a lot of prayer must go into this. God is the one who can take this thing from your life. There were times that I fell. I would again start taking drugs after stopping but I would get down on my knees in prayer and confess my sin. I spoke to God in a personal way and told Him that I do not have the strength to do this on my own. Only He has the power to take drugs or alcohol out of our lives. The devil is a tempter and he continuously tempts us to go against the will of God. Our bodies are the temple of the Holy Spirit and we need to keep our bodies clean, yes, even from drugs, sexual sins, alcohol, etc. This is the will of God. BUT we need to use wisdom. Our bodies become addicted to the substances and sometimes when we leave the substance, our bodies take strain and go into a shock state. This can be very dangerous. I would suggest that one goes to a Doctor for help with this. Also it is VITAL that counceling is sought. It is preferable that a Pastor or Christian is sought because this person is able to stand in the gap with prayer while you are going through this. I would not suggest stopping substances on your own without medical help or counceling. Our bodies are merely flesh and blood and the body is very sensitive. The devil also roams around like a lion, looking for someone to devour. This is why it is best that a Christian person is there to help you, pray for you and plead to God on your behalf. You can do it! At times you may feel that there is just no way you will be able to do this, but push through it, you will. As I type this, I send out a prayer for you anyway, that God will indeed give you the strength to overcome this terrible bondage. A journey, that is exactly what this is. Your main destiny is to be as Christ-like as possible. The devil could not overcome Jesus in anyway and we don’t want the devil to overcome us, right? No, exactly, so be as Christ-like as possible. Jesus Christ has placed people along your path to help you to seek Him and to find Him, but remember, it is ultimately your responsibility to find Him. Christ is counting on you! He is waiting with His arms wide open for you. The mere fact that you have come this far brings tears of joy to His eyes. Run the race! This journey can be a wonderful experience and one day you could be able to share it with somebody who will need your help. God could ultimately put you in somones path to help them because you know the road. Do this with haste. A person who has been in the occult goes through tremendous stress. It is by no means easy once we have accepted Jesus into our lives. One must remember that satan hates us more than Christians that were not serving him. We have betrayed him and we are able to expose him and his lies. He will do anything to destroy us and kill us. Ex-occultists need to be watched over and taken care of. Why do people go the dark route? People who usually end up in the occult are people who are hurt, rejected, alone, searching, abused, traumatized, rejects of society. These people are merely looking for acceptance (which they will get from covens). They are people who are crying out for help and nobody wants to listen to them. This is serious, people! These souls are in danger and it is our duty to reach out and help them. Christ is counting on YOU! Take note of this persons dreams. They are often demonically attacked, especially at night. Because the person knows how real the dark side is, their dreams are real to them. One of satans weapons against them is in their dreams. Remind them constantly that they are protected by God and the devil has no power over them anymore. Give them scriptures to learn and to quote. Teach them how to bind the demons and loose Gods blessings over their lives. Help them renew their minds. This is a long process, but most of the time, the person does not see themselves ever changing. To them it is impossible, but with God, he delights in showing His power in the impossible. We all like to have a party, don’t we? Well, the past is no place to have a party. LET GO AND LET GOD. Your memories will still be there, but remember, God wants you to use your past for His good, not for your determent. The enemy (the devil) will constantly remind you. He will whisper to you “Remember this, remember that” and he will tell you how bad you are and that you are not worth anything. When he does this, you just remind him of his future - A Word to those helping: The most important thing that you can offer this person is PATIENCE AND LOVE. I did not know what love it until recently. I understood love as lust. Love in its essence had no meaning to me. Only God can bring about this love and you need to pray that God will pour out His love on this person. Something to think about! 1. Many Wiccans say they believe the God and Goddess are two parts of the same whole. Together the two become the one true divine being. Wiccans state they separate this divine being into male and female parts in order to "relate" to this divine being. If this is true, doesn't if fly in the face of the stories you follow like the oak and holly king, the way the world was birthed etc? 2. If the Wiccan faith was started by Gardner and he lied about being part of a coven in the first place, let alone the fact that his coven could trace its roots back to pre-Christianity, doesn't this mean that the entire ritual system has no basis in history? 3. If the entire ritual system (casting circle, calling the quarters, drawing down the moon or gods, working spells) does not come from a coven that traces their heritage back to pre-Christianity, where does it come from? Think about it. If you want to invent something new, the problem is that when we invent or create something we take from things we are familiar with and expand on them. If you were to write a story, you might take from experiences in your own life to create it. Well, if 4. Isn't it correct, then, to say that Wicca is a distortion of the Catholic mass and the secret societies like the free Masons? 5. Did you know that 6. If the rituals are not historical, then do you really have a connection with pagan religions beyond the name of the god or goddess you call on? 7. If the religion you practice was created, is it possible than that the names of the gods are nothing more than names? 8. Have you ever made an error in judgment about a person and their personality or qualities? Is it possible that the gods you worship are nothing more than empty names or are simply spirits or demons pretending to be the gods you worship? Demonic Oppression
